Embracing a change | Change sometimes can be difficult. In many cases, we are reluctant to change our ways of thought, our routines fearing what might happen if we step outside our comfort zones.
I've been one of those who has had difficulty at times embracing change, though most cases proved to be for the good once I allowed myself to do so.

Spurrier at Hibriten? Yeah, that was him | As Kayla Stamey walked the halls of Hibriten High School Thursday morning in a University of North Carolina sweatshirt, a nearby voice called out, boldly critiquing her fashion sense.
Wrong Carolina! it said.
Normally, Stamey could chalk the trash talk up as playful jabbing from another enthusiastic fan. But this time, the case was different. The voice belonged to University of South Carolina football coach Steve Spurrier.

| Spartans fall in NW opener | When South Caldwell's Chris Kirby quickly pinned his opponent at 140 pounds Thursday, it appeared the tide was turning for the Spartans, who had then trimmed Freedom's once-double-lead to one point with three weight classes remaining.
But in the end, the Spartans could draw no closer. South lost its Northwestern Conference opener for the first time in a number of years, 41-33.
